Our Story
Office Chair Outlet is a South African business dedicated to helping organisations create healthier, more productive workspaces with seating that works. Our journey began in 1994, when our founder, Johan Watson, entered the office furniture industry at Orbros Office Furniture, a company owned by the Orelowitz brothers.
The Orbros Legacy
Mr Eric Orelowitz mentored Johan. Eric’s standards for quality, his dedication to customers, and his insistence on doing things properly shaped everything we do today. We acknowledge with respect that Eric and his wife tragically passed away in 1997. Their legacy lives on in our commitment to honest advice, durable products, and service that puts people first.
